OurAlum – Child Safety & Content Moderation Policy

Introduction

OurAlum is a private platform designed exclusively for verified college alumni aged 18 and older. We do not permit minors to register or use our services. This policy outlines our approach to child safety and content moderation.

1. Age Restriction

• Only users 18 years or older are allowed to access OurAlum.
• Verification is based on college alumni group affiliation.
• Minors are not permitted to use the platform under any circumstances.

2. Content Submission & Moderation

• Users may submit posts, photos, job ads, and announcements.
• All submitted content is subject to approval by group administrators.
• Admins have full control to approve, edit, or reject content.

3. Prohibited Content

We have zero tolerance for the following:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Harassment, exploitation, or threats
• Nudity or sexually explicit material
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Spam, scams, or misleading information

4. Reporting Concerns

Users can report inappropriate content using the “Contact Us / Feedback” option available in each group. Reports are reviewed promptly by group admins and central support staff.

5. Compliance with Law

OurAlum complies with all local and international child protection laws and Google Play’s
Child Safety Standards. Any illegal content, including CSAM, will be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.
